Shreeram Samartha
Late Prof. Keshav Vishnu Belsare, lovingly known as “ Baba ” was a great apostle of shree
Brahmachaitanya Gondavalekar Maharaj in the recent times.
Through years of spiritual practice and literary work, he has opened doors to the teachings of Shrimahraj and has also set an example of an ideal “Sadhak” for sincere seekers of spirituality. The journey of his life is as intriguing as his contribution is !
Quotes on “Divine Love” from Prof. K.V. Belsare’s Diary:
Many things are born out of a person's love, desire, thought, volition and action.
Desiring something is a move towards possession of that something. Possession means that in some way or the other the object should enter our orbit and become part of us.
Desire has a passive character. When I desire something, what I actually desire is that the object comes to me. Being the centre of gravity, I await things to fall down before me.
Desire automatically dies when it is fulfilled. It ends with satisfaction.
Love is eternally unsatisfied.
Love is the exact reverse of desire, for is all activity. Instead of the object coming towards me, it is I, who go to the object and become part of it.
You cannot go to the God you love, with the legs of your body. And yet loving him means going towards him.
"I love you as one ought to love - desperately."
"I cannot stop loving you for one single moment."
